| Joe Durrant who recently took on the role of District Lead Volunteer has been offered a fantastic career opportunity, he will be moving out of the county and will no longer be able to fulfil the role of District Volunteer Role. However, I am delighted to say that Alex Young (alex.Young@peakscouts.org) will be taking on the role, with immediate effect, initially for a period of a year. Alex has over 25 years of Scouting experience and will be known to many in the district. On behalf of Derbyshire Scouts we wish Joe and his family good luck for the future and say thank you to Alex for taking on the role. Kind regards Sue Harris County Lead Volunteer A big thanks from everyone across Peak Scouts to Joe for his support and a welcome to Alex in his new role. |
